The aim of this study was to learn how paraprofessional health care workers view their work, what they think would improve the quality of their job, how workers can be attracted to the field, and how turnover can be reduced. Through interviews and focus groups, the findings reveal that the challenges associated with a health aide's job vary depending on the type of setting. |
