This fact sheet describes the state of direct-care workers in Massachusetts. It notes that demand for direct-care workers in Massachusetts will grow drastically over the next several years, and argues that the uncompetitive wages and minimal benefits typically offered to direct-care workers will make it extremely difficult to satisfy that demand. |
