Certified nursing assistants' perceptions of nursing home patient safety culture: Is there a relationship to clinical outcomes

Abstract |
This study evaluated the relationship between certified nursing assistants (CNAs) perceptions of patient safety culture (PSC) and clinical outcome. The article notes a relationship between PSC and certain clinical outcomes such as reports of falls and restraint use. The authors conclude that patient safety and workforce stability are likely to benefit from programs to help measure and improve PSC. |
