Data from almost 4,000 nursing homes was used to examine advantages and disadvantages to using agency nursing and nurse aide staff. Based on results from a survey of nursing home administrators, the study found that more disadvantages than advantages were noted. The article discusses potential reasons for the relationship between agency use and quality of care. |
